After having a brilliant 2016 season, Connacht has refreshed its squad with more talent that is expected to lead the club to more victory.
Here are the 5 new players that will take the field for Connacht's 2016/17 campaign.
Eoin Griffin (signed 14 December 2015 from London Irish)
Griffin previously made 71 appearances for Connacht, including 11 in the Heineken Cup between 2009 and 2014.
The 25-year-old has now re-signed with Connacht on a two-year contract that will see him stunt for the side until 2018.
Conor Carey (signed 7 March 2016 from Nottingham)
Tighthead Carey signed for the Green and Whites from Ealing Trailfinders, back in May 2014 after he began his career at Ulster, where he also represented Ireland at age group level.
The 25-year-old sealed a move to Connacht, joining the Irish provincial side for the start of their 2016/17 season.
Marnitz Boshoff (signed 14 March 2016 from Lions)
Boshoff was capped for the Springboks against Scotland in 2014 and has made 30 Super Rugby appearances, scoring 214 points.
The 27-year-old also featured for the Barbarians in their 2014 tour of England, and has signed to join Connacht on a two-year deal.
Cian Kelleher (signed 3 May 2016 from Leinster)
Kelleher spent two seasons in the Leinster Academy and has seven Pro12 appearances under his belt - scoring a try against Zebre in February.
The 21-year-old fullback, who can also play on the wing and in the midfield, signed for Connacht on a two-year deal.
Dominic Robertson-McCoy (signed 21 June 2016 from Northland)
Robertson-McCoy played in the ITM Cup for Northland in 2015 and has previously represented the Blues Development side.
The 22-year-old tighthead prop, who also covers loosehead, arrived in Ireland just in time for the start of Connacht’s pre-season in July.
