Peikrishvili handed six-week ban

Cardiff Blues can confirm Anton Peikrishvili has been handed a six-week suspension after being sent off for biting Rob McCusker of Ospreys.

The incident occurred in the second half of the match and Peikrishvili was charged for acts contrary to good sportsmanship, and pleaded guilty.

The prop was given a six-week suspension which was backdated to Tuesday 22nd November.

He is free to play again on Monday 2nd January.
