Ospreys power past Dragons

The Ospreys made it two wins from three in the Pro14 Rainbow Cup after a 42-26 away victory over the Dragons in round 3.
The Dragons got off to a fantastic start, with a try just two minutes in giving them a 7-0 lead. The Ospreys got on the board with a penalty before the Dragons were reduced to 14 players after picking up a yellow card midway through the first half. The Ospreys capitalized on their numerical advantage with two tries and added a penalty five minutes from halftime to open up a 20-7 advantage. The Dragons needed a response before the break and a try in the final minute of the half saw them trail 20-14 at halftime. A frantic start to the second half saw the Ospreys slot an early penalty before picking up a yellow card of their own. The Dragons scored straight away with their extra player to temporarily reduce the deficit to just two points, but the Ospreys hit back with a try from the restart to lead 28-21. The Ospreys took control of the match, with another try around the hour mark pushing their lead out to 14 points with a little under twenty minutes to play. The Dragons got try number four in the final ten minutes to give themselves a chance, but the Ospreys put the cherry on the cake with their fifth score in the final minute to seal it.
