Following months of speculation, Top 14 side Toulon have added another star to their star-studded lineup with World Cup-winning All Black Julian Savea signing a two-year deal at the club.
The deal means Savea has been released from the final year of his contract with New Zealand Rugby and the Hurricanes.
Savea is currently third on the All Blacks all-time scoring record having scored 46 tries in 54 appearances in the Black jersey but has failed to feature in the squad since the final British and Irish Lions test last June.
To-date Savea has scored 47 tries in 115 Super Rugby appearances for the Hurricanes. The man nicknamed the 'Bus' will join the French club following the conclusion of the 2018 Super Rugby season.
The 27-year-old played a prominent role in the All Blacks surge to their third Rugby World Cup title in 2015, after starting in the 2010 Junior World Championship and scoring a hattrick on debut against Ireland in 2012.
He also helped the Hurricanes to a second place finish during the 2015 Super Rugby season before winning the competition a year later.
