New Zealand Silence Questions With a Clinical Win

The All Blacks seemed to continue the momentumn of their Southern Hemisphere Counterparts, South Africa, with an emphatic 41-12 win over Argentina in Mendoza earlier tonight. The All Blacks domininance in the match was reminiscent of a schoolboy rugby selection trial, as the so called "fringe players", of New Zealand all put up their hands with outstanding performances to secure their spot for the upcoming rugby world cup.

It was hard to miss the performances from the following players who have fought for their permanent inclusion in the All Blacks sqaud, as the put their hands up high for World Cup selection:

Damian McKenzie

Although his kicking left much to be desired, Mckenzie's command of the backline saw him become the day's field general. His dictation of the mid-filed saw him gain 32 metres off seven carries which was accompanied by one line break and 24 passes. His defense was not to be questioned either, as he bagged five tackles to seal off an empahtic performance to put his hands\ up for world cup selection.

Jordie Barret

What can be said about the Barrets aside from, "Another game, another clinic", with inside centre Jordie Barret showing why he is a prime selection for New Zealands mid-field. 10 carries, two clean line breaks, a try and two defenders beaten was enough to sum up world class performance for the chiefs player.

Beauden Barret

In what was was a fairly quiet first half for the All Blacks regular, Beauden Barret showed why he has been a first class starter for the All Blacks. From nine carries alone, Barrett gained 73 metres of ground, coupled by one line break, beating two defenders while completing two offloads and 11 passes.

Ardie Savea

The future looks bright for New Zealand in the eight-man position, as Ardie Savea proved why he is the number one choice. Nine carries,while gaining 30 metres of ground coupled by a solitary line-break, five passes and two off-loads prived that the Savea name continues to be a force to be reckoned with in All Blacks rugby. Not short on the defensive end, Savea made hi scontribution to Argentina's points restriction by completing 10 tackles.

Josh lord

The second rower left know stone unturned in his performance in the opening round of the championship. Lord's relentless work at the breakdown ensured ball retention at the breakdown. Three succesful tackles, one offload, ywo carries four sucessful passes wrapped up an impressive performance by the number five lock.
