Netani Talei retires

Harlequins back-rower Netani Talei has announced that he will retire from the game following medical advice.
Commenting on the decision, Talei said: “After 17 months out of the game spent rehabbing and draining fluid from my knee, it was advised by a consultant that retirement is the best option for me.
“I would like to thank Harlequins for their patience and show my gratitude to the medical staff who have continually monitored my rehab and training.
He joined Harlequins in January 2015 and made his debut in the LV= Cup against Bath Rugby and has made eight senior appearances.
He made his Fijian debut in 2006 he has 33 Test caps which include appearances in the 2007, 2011 and 2015 Rugby World Cups.
