Munster boss praises team after Leinster victory

Munster head coach Johann van Graan was upbeat after his side’s victory over Leinster at the RDS yesterday.
With Damian de Allende, CJ Stander, Conor Murray and Tadhg Beirne leading the charge with superb performances, the men in red powered past Leinster 27-3.
While it was something of a second-string Leinster side with Leo Cullen and co. eyeing next weekend’s Champions Cup semi-final, Munster must still be credited for putting together a quality performance.
“We’re very happy about the result," said van Graan. “It’s very good for this group to come and win in the RDS.
"We took some of the lessons we learned in the final, we worked hard in the last few weeks. It was a real physical battle.
“It’s the first round of Rainbow Cup. We’ll review this and move on.
“It was a very good team performance. Tactically we picked in a specific way, our starters did really well, and the impact from the bench was really good.
"I felt it was a good build on the Toulouse performance.”
