Monty Ioane Signs two-year deal with Lyon

Lyon have confirmed the signing of Australian-born Monty Ioane. 

After 5 years under the colors of Benetton Treviso (more than 80 games played), the winger had joined the Melbourne Rebels at the beginning of the season, thus returning to his country of origin. He played 14 Super Rugby games this year.

Despite everything, it was in Italy that he made a name for himself. Performing in the United Rugby Championship (a competition bringing together the Welsh, Irish, Italian, Scottish and South African provinces), his accumulated years in Treviso allowed him to join the Italian selection in 2020.

At Lyon Rugby, Monty Ioane will return to the TOP 14, after a flash passage at the Stade Français between 2013 and 2015.
