Israel Folau won't be on the plane to Japan as coach Michael Cheika set to rest his star fullback for the remaining Tests of 2017.
Folau will play against the Barbarians on Saturday but that will be his final match for the year, with Cheika telling reporters of the decision to freshen Folau up for 2018 and beyond.
All Black squad for end of year tour
The squad features four uncapped players: dynamic 20-year-old Wellington hooker Asafo Aumua; skilful North Harbour outside back Matt Duffie; and physical Tasman prop Tim Perry and talented Northland midfielder Jack Goodhue, who both trained with the All Blacks squad earlier this year.
Wallabies confirm 28-man squad for Barbarians clash
Test veterans James Slipper and Ben McCalman make their long-awaited returns to the Wallabies fold following injury struggles while young Queensland backrower Liam Wright joins the squad for the first time.
Brumbies centre Kyle Godwin and Reds lock Kane Douglas have also forced their way back into the squad, which features seven uncapped players.
Camille Lopez Injury update
Clermont has confirmed that following scans Camille Lopez has suffered an open fracture of his tibia on his left leg.
The French flyhalf underwent surgery that evening and is it expected to be out for at least 6 months.
Clayton McMillan names his first Maori All Blacks squad
The Crusaders have injected some significant experience into their backline for 2018, with midfielder Tim Bateman re-signing with the team and first five-eighth Mike Delany also joining the squad.
