Mitre 10 Cup Round 3 Highlights: Counties Manukau v Taranaki

Taranaki comes out on top in this tightly fought contest against Counties Manukau. Taranaki started the game well with Seta Tamanivalu setting Lachlan Boshier up for a try in the first three minutes of the game. Counties responded with tries by Kalolo Tuiloma and Tevita Nabura to lead 12-8 at the break. Beaudein Waaka converted two penalties to put Counties back in front and extended the lead before the hour mark with a superb try. Toni Pulu levelled the scores with a sensational try with just three minutes left to play but Taranaki hit back from the resulting kick off with Beaudein Waaka scoring his second try of the game and converted the try to give Taranaki a 7-point win.
