Mitre 10 Cup FINAL HIGHLIGHTS: Auckland v Canterbury

In what was an exciting final, Auckland has managed and battled to victory as the lift up the cup. A 9 try thriller was forced into extra time where Auckland took control. Canterbury were in somewhat of a comfortable lead at the break with a 7-20 lead. Two 2nd half tries from Ioane and Trainor took the host in front, but with 5min left of normal time Tom Sanders was the hero for his side to force the game into extra time. Auckland showed too much in extra time scoring 2 tries and claiming the 2018 title winning 40-33.
