Matt Proctor's Super Rugby season is over while Fifita is cited

Following the Hurricanes 30-17 win over the Sharks in Durban, The Hurricanes will be without the services of centre Matt Proctor.
The All Black centre has suffered what is understood to be a torn pectoral muscle in the 60th minute which is likely to end his Hurricanes' career as he is set to join former Hurricanes' coach Chris Boyd at Northampton Saints.
"It's a little bit annoying for me as that wasn't part of my plan, but with Matty Proctor going home, if Ngani went with him, that would be both our midfielders gone, so we'll just keep him here." said head coach Plumtree who confirmed that Laumape would not be heading home after his plan was to send the All Black centre home early.
Meanwhile, Vaea Fifita has been cited for a high shot on Sharks No 8 Daniel du Preez that saw him receive a straight red card in the final 5 minutes in Durban.
