Tonights pro 12 clash saw Edinburgh travel to Wales to face The Cardiff Blues. Rainy Conditions were always going to cause problems for both sides with many handling errors coming from both sides. Edinburgh opened the scoring with a penalty kicked by Duncan Weir however the Blues had a quick answer in the form of a try coming from Steve Shingler. He slotted his conversion but failed to add 3 extra points by missing a penalty minutes later.
Edinburghs big Junior Rasolea barrelled over the line and the realiable Weir added the extras. Three minutes later Weir added another 3 points with a kick at goal but unfortunately that was as good as it got for Edinburgh. Shingler kicked a penalty and Edinburgh managed to concede a penalty try. Going into the break it was tight with Cardiff going in with a well deserved lead.
The second half saw Cardiff open up the Scottish team with two tries coming from man of the match Nick Williams and Tomos Williams. Cardiff held strong in defense as Edinburgh did their best to break down the Blues, however heavy rain and a lack of structure mean the Edinburgh men had many handling errors in their attack.

Williams proved to be a physical force in this match with a number of strong carries. Williams got a try under the post using his strength to barge over the line in what was an impressive performance.
