The Brumbies overcame a spirited Western Force side to get a bonus-point win and earn a home final in Super Rugby AU
The Brumbies started slow and were not very clinical in the first half, despite two disallowed tries.
Western Force started brightly and opened the scoring through Lee-Warner, with Prior adding the extras. The score stayed like that for the next 20 minutes as Brumbies struggled to get into gear.
Brumbies eventually got into the game in the final ten minutes of the half, as they scored a good try in the corner through Tom Wright before Tom Banks went over five minute later to take the lead into halftime.
Western Force looked to start the second half like the first but Will Miller scored in the corner to put the Force on the back foot again.
Western Force didn't let that stop them, as they took it to the Brumbies again before Jono Lance scored four minutes later. It was then game on.
Brumbies went back and forth from that point until they eventually came to life to to gain all the momentum.
Ikitau scored to open a comfortable lead before Muirhead wrapped things up late on.
Faingaa thought he scored his 10th try of the season, but was denied after an obstruction from a maul at the death.
With one round to go before playoffs, Brumbies will breathe a sigh of relief and look forward to he final.
