Marcus Smith on his way to South Africa

Warren Gatland has called up Marcus Smith to replace the injured Finn Russell. Russell has withdrawn from the game against the Sharks this evening with Bundee Aki replacing him.

Gatland has hopes that Russell's Achilles injury isn't too serious and that the Scotland 10 would be ready to possibly be selected for the Test matches.

Marcus Smith was playing for England against Canada when the news broke and was told the news when he came off on the 65th minute.
