Mack Hansen injury update

Mack Hansen’s return from a long-term shoulder injury remains on hold, but Connacht are confident that their winger will be fit for the first game of the URC season against Munster on September 21.
Hansen has been sidelined since New Year’s Day, and while he had hoped to return at the end of last season, he is still working his way back to full fitness.
The Ireland star is unlikely to feature in Connacht’s first pre-season game against Sale at the Dexcom Stadium on Saturday, but with two more friendlies to come against Glasgow and Bristol, Hansen (26) is set to get game-time ahead of next month's trip to Thomond Park.
“Mack is in full training, he has done a full pre-season with us,” said Connacht head coach Pete Wilkins.
“We are happy with how he is tracking, but we probably won’t use him against Sale. I don’t think that’s necessary at this point, but we’ll keep ramping him up and he’ll definitely get pre-season minutes with a view to being ready for round one.
“He is tracking nicely, but we most likely won’t use him this weekend."
