Lyon vs Toulouse - Top 14 Round 1 Highlights

It finished all level with both sides battling hard in tough conditions but after 80 minutes nothing separates the two sides. Jean-Marc Doussain traded penalties inside the first 30 minutes before Etienne Oosthuizen scored Lyon's first try of the season. Both sides were reduced to 14-men before halftime with Francois van der Merwe guilty for striking a player with an elbow, while Pierre Fouyssac tackled a player without the ball. Lyon took a 10-6 lead into the break. Yoann Huget was on the end of a lovely piece of play between Cheslin Kolbe and Iosefa Tekori to as Toulouse took an 11-13 lead after 50 minutes but Doussain  levelled the scores soon after with a penalty. Doussain put Lyon ahead with 10 minutes to play before Thomas Ramos struck a brilliant drop goal to even the scores. From neither side could seal the victory with the game ending 16-16.
