Harlequins have confirmed that backrow Luke Wallace has re-joined the club with immediate effect from Leicester Tigers.
Returning to South West London this week, the former Quins fan favourite has signed for the Club until the end of the 2021/22 season.
The 30-year-old returns to The Stoop having joined Leicester from Greene King IPA Championship side Coventry last summer and will look to add to his 169 appearances in the Famous Quarters between 2009 and 2019.
During his first ten-year spell at Harlequins, Wallace captained the Club to victory in both the Aviva ‘A’ League and LV= Cup, with the St Albans-born flanker subsequently earning a call up to the England Saxons squad during the 2013/14 season.
Commenting on his return, Wallace said: “Firstly, I’d like to thank Tigers for the opportunity and experience over the last year. It was great to work alongside some special players, coaches and staff in one of the league’s biggest teams.
“I’m super excited to be making my way back to Harlequins. This Club means a lot to me and I can’t wait to get involved in the push towards the title this season and onwards.
“This is a special group with huge potential, and I can’t wait to get stuck in with old friends and some new faces. It’s an exciting time to be part of Harlequins.
