London Irish sign experienced quartet

London Irish have strengthen their squad with the confirmation of four new signings.

36-times capped Australian international hooker Saia Fainga’a, French Top 14 winger Napolioni Nalaga, Italian international Luke McLean and Saracens' Petrus Du Plessis all join the club.

Fainga’a has joined London Irish from the Brumbies as the recruitment drive continues ahead of the 2017/18 season, while Nalaga signs from Lyon ahead of the 2017/18 season.

McLean, who's a Versatile back, joins from from Benetton Rugby Treviso and has Premiership experience and 89 Italy caps to his name, and played in all of his country’s RBS 6 Nations matches this year.

Lifting the European Rugby Champions Cup twice and the Premiership Rugby title on three occasions, the 35-year-old tighthead prop Du Plessis is the last confirmed player looking to add vast experience to the Exiles’ pack.
