Leinster to Host Munster in Croke Park

Leinster confirme that the United Rugby Championship game against Munster Rugby will be hosted in Croke Park on Saturday, 12 October (KO: 5.45pm).

The game is Leinster’s second home game of the season and will see Leinster host Munster at the home of the GAA for the first time since the Champions Cup semi-final in 2009, when Leinster won in front of over 82,000 spectators.

Leinster Rugby are playing games outside of the RDS Arena from September as the RDS is undergoing refurbishment and as a result, the majority of home games in the 2024/25 season will be played in Aviva Stadium, with a number of games designated for Croke Park.

This is not the first game Leinster have played in Croke Park since 2009 as they played against Northampton Saints in the semi-final of last year’s Champions Cup with tickets for that game selling in as little as 36 hours.

Tickets for the game against Munster Rugby will go on public sale on Friday, 30 August 2024, and before the public sale there will be a window for current Leinster Rugby Season Ticket Holders to upgrade their tickets. This is the same process as would have applied to previous Munster games being hosted in the Aviva Stadium, rather than the RDS.

Once Season Ticket Holders have had a window to access tickets, the remaining tickets will then go on sale to the public.

Leinster Rugby will be in contact with Season Ticket Holders over the coming days with further information and they are advised to check their inbox for further information and key dates.
