Kobus van Wyk Keen To Extend Hurricanes Contract

South African-born Kobus van Wyk is in high spirits ahead of Super Rugby Aotearoa. The pacey winger, who has previously represented the Stormers and Sharks has said that he has enjoyed his time at the Hurricanes so much so that he is keen to stay on for longer. 

"I'm feeling right at home with the boys. It had been an awesome few months leading up to Covid-19, so I think my agent and the Hurricanes are busy with the contract for next year and maybe a two-year deal, so I'm just waiting on that. In another week or two we'll sort that out," he said.
