Keith Earls in doubt for Gloucester clash

Munster have provided an injury update following an enticing encounter with Exeter Chiefs in the opening round of the Champions Cup.
Munster coach Johann van Graan confirmed that winger Keith Earls will see a specialist to determine how serious his hamstring injury is ahead of next weekend’s European action.
Sammy Arnold suffered a throat injury and was observed overnight in hospital. He has been discharged and will be assessed by the medical department to determine availability for this weekend.
“The other player’s boot got his throat, it’s a very sensitive part of the vocal chords, so we took him off straight away. He was discharged, he’s in good spirits." said van Graan.
John Ryan suffered an ankle injury during the game. He will be assessed by the medical department and undergo treatment this week to determine availability for this weekend.
Dave O’Callaghan suffered a foot injury during the Munster A game and will be seen by a specialist to determine his further treatment.
Scrumhalf Conor Murray will not play against Gloucester while Alby Mathewson may train later in the week.
