Julian Savea set to join Toulon on a two-year deal

New Zealand international winger Julian Savea is set to join Toulon on a two-year deal, confirms RMCsport.

According to the website, the 27-year-old's signing will be confirmed this afternoon.

The powerhouse wing recently signed on for the Wellingon Lions' campaign starting in August, after playing a prominent role in their second-tier championship victory last year.

His lucrative New Zealand Rugby contract runs until the end of next year but with the current speculation that French clubs are chasing his services, this may require them to buy out the final year of his New Zealand Rugby deal.
