Jordie Barrett earns first start for Leinster at 15

The Leinster side to take on ASM Clermont Auvergne in Round 2 of the Investec Champions Cup at Avia Stadium (KO: 5.30pm, live on RTÉ 2 and Premier Sports 1) has been named by Head Coach Leo Cullen.

There are five changes to the starting XV from Sunday's 35-12 win over Bristol Bears, with Caelan Doris returning as captain and Jordie Barrett set to make his first start for Leinster after scoring a try off the bench at the weekend.

Liam Turner comes in on the wing, while Andrew Porter and Thomas Clarkson also come into the starting line up.

Sam Prendergast keeps his place at out-half after scoring two tries on Sunday, with Jamison Gibson-Park set to partner him once more.

Garry Ringrose and Robbie Henshaw continue in the centres, with Jimmy O'Brien completing the back line.

Rónan Kelleher has been named at hooker once more with Joe McCarthy and James Ryan once again packing down together in the second row.

Meanwhile, Josh van der Flier continues at openside flanker after being named Player of the Autumn Nations Series and Max Deegan takes the number six shirt.

Three Academy players have been named among the replacements with Gus McCarthy, Fintan Gunne and Andrew Osborne continuing the run of at least one Academy player being involved in every Leinster matchday squad so far this season.

There is plenty of experience on the bench too, with Cian Healy and Rabah Slimani offering support in the front row with RG Snyman, Jack Conan and Ross Byrne providing the rest of the cover.
