Jaco Kriel heading to Japan

The Golden Lions Rugby Union have confirmed that Springbok flanker Jaco Kriel will head to Japan after his Springbok commitments to take up a contract with the Kubota Spears.

Kriel, who has been one of the stars in this year's Super Rugby competition, will spend the Currie Cup season in the far east and return for Super Rugby next year in a deal he has done with the Lions.
