Tonga centre, George Moala will appear before an independent judicial committee on Monday, 14 August having received a red card in Tonga’s Rugby World Cup warm up match against Canada on 10 August for an offence contrary to Law 9.18 (lifting tackle).

The independent Disciplinary Committee that will hear the matter is chaired by Stephen Hardy (Australia), joined by former international referee Valeriu Toma (Romania), and former international player Stefan Terblanche (South Africa).
