Hong Kong continue dominance of Asian Sevens
- 909
Hong Kong made it two tournament wins from two in the ARFU Asian Sevens Series after a 24-7 victory over Japan in the final of the Malaysian leg of the competition.
Picking up from where they left off on home soil a fortnight ago, where they defeated shock finalists Korea 40-0, Hong Kong turned in another strong showing in Kuala Lumpur to take another step towards reclaiming the Asian title they last won back in 2012.
Japan or Korea must rely on Hong Kong finishing outside of the top three when the Series resumes in Beijing (18-19 October) if they are to have any hope of catching them.
