England cemented their place on top of the Six Nations table with a convincing victory over a poor French side this afternoon. They got off to a flier again, with a try for Jonny May after just one minute. The winger went on to nab a first half hat-trick, as the home side exploited their opponents frailties at the back with deft kicks in behind. Henry Slade rounded off the BP before the break, with France limited to just a solitary five pointer from Damian Penaud. England only extended that lead in the second period, with a penalty try and one from Owen Farrell topping off the rout of their visitors. France go back to the drawing board as they seek their first win in the competition in the next round. England will look forward to a crunch tie with an undefeated Welsh side after the break next weekend.
