- 2132
A strong finish saw Edinburgh claim a 29-19 home win over the Glasgow Warriors to avenge last weeks defeat to the same opponents. The first half was physical and bruising as a try apiece saw the sides head into the break deadlocked at 7-7. An early second half penalty saw Edinburgh edge ahead, but the Warriors hit back with their second try to reclaim the lead 14-10. A second Edinburgh try saw the hosts hit the front, but the sea-saw battle continued as a Warriors try shortly after saw them up 19-17 heading into the final 10 minutes. Edinburgh were then awarded a penalty try to lead 24-17, with the Warriors picking up a yellow card in the process. The game was put to bed with a late Edinburgh try sealing a hard fought victory.
