Henry Slade withdrawn from England training camp

England Rugby have confirmed that Exeter Chief's Henry Slade has not travelled to Portugal for England’s training camp.

Slade was forced off during Exeter’s Champions Cup defeat by Glasgow on Saturday and he will remain with the Chiefs this week for further assessment of a shoulder injury rather than travelling to the Algarve.

“Henry Slade has not travelled to Portugal for England’s training camp,” an RFU statement said. “Slade will remain with Chiefs for further assessment of a shoulder injury he sustained on the weekend.”
