Harlequins Women to play with names on shirts

Harlequins are excited to announce that during the Allianz Premiership Women’s Rugby (PWR), Harlequins Women’s players will wear their names on the back of their shirts for the first time in the Club’s history.

Harlequins Head Coach Amy Turner said: “This is an exciting step for the Club. It's a great opportunity to promote the stars of the game, and bring fans closer to the players they enjoy watching every week.

“Players will take huge pride in wearing their names on their shirts, to have that greater sense of identity on the pitch is really important. They’re all very excited to run out with their names on their backs on Saturday against Trailfinders.”
