Guy Porter joins Brumbies Rugby

Fresh off of leading Sydney University to victory in the Shute Shield, Guy Porter has signed with the Brumbies for the 2020 season.

 
The 22-year-old centre who can also cover wing and fullback, has been a consistent performer both in the Shute Shield and the NRC over the past couple of seasons and joins the Brumbies as part of the wider training squad.

 
“It’s a dream come true to have signed with the Brumbies,“ Porter said.
 
“I’ve worked for this goal for many years now, so to sign my first professional contract means the world to me and I’m just to grateful for the opportunity the Brumbies are giving me.
 
“Joining a club with this kind of history and standing in the game is a massive challenge for me, but’s it’s something I’ll relish and now all I want to do is get down to Canberra and get started.”
 

Porter, who will graduate with a law degree this year, will add depth to the Brumbies squad
