Good opening win for Blitzboks

The South African Sevens team took their first step towards claiming the HSBC World Series title with a stirring 19-12 win over Samoa in their opening fixture at the Glasgow Sevens on Saturday.
The Blitzboks were in control throughout and put in an excellent defensive performance to stop the Samoans in their tracks to take the first scalp in the so-called “Group of death”.
