Gloucester make 5 changes to face Sale Sharks

With 11 players on international duty, George Skivington has been forced to make five changes for Gloucester Rugby's trip to Sale Sharks on Saturday 5 November from their win over Exeter Chiefs at Kingsholm last Friday.

All the changes come in the back-line.

Charlie Chapman is the only back that wears the same shirt as he wore against Exeter, he starts at scrum-half with Lloyd Evans switching from full-back to join him in the half-backs.

Experienced Billy Twelvetrees is set for his first Premiership start of the season at inside-centre. Jack Reeves at 13, who's impressed so much in the Premiership Cup, that he's featured off the bench in the league for the Cherry & Whites in the last 3 games, will make his first ever Gallagher Premiership start.

An all new back-three sees wingers Jake Morris and Tom Seabrook and fullback Kyle Moyle make their first starts of the 2022/23 Gallagher Premiership season.

The pack remains the same as last Friday.

Harry Elrington, Santiago Socino and Fraser Balmain form the front row, with Freddie Clarke and Cam Jordan behind them.

Lewis Ludlow captains the team from the back-row, where he's joined by Ruan Ackermann and Ben Morgan.

On the bench, Henry Walker, Kirill Gotovtsev and Ben Meehan remain.

Joining them are Val Rapava-Ruskin, who has been released by the England squad for the game, Andrew Davidson, Jordy Reid, George Barton and Alex Hearle, who is set to make his debut after signing from Worcester a month ago.
