Gatland to make announcement

Warren Gatland today names his Wales team to face Portugal in their second Rugby World Cup match of the tournament.
They will be looking to make it two wins in two following the adrenaline-rushed victory over Fiji on Sunday night in Bordeaux. Any Wales coach or indeed fan would have taken a win and five points before the match; nevertheless it was a nerve-jangling evening for Gatland and Co. but the fixture against the Portuguese should be, in theory, a far more straightforward affair. Wales coach Jonathan Thomas says there will be changes when the Kiwi names his team this afternoon.
"You will have seen for yourselves, what a physical game it was and the amount of tackles we made," Thomas said of the win over the Pacific Islanders. "There are a number of sore bodies, but there are no injury concerns.
"I think it is safe to say there will be changes. We've got complete and utter faith in our whole squad.
"I think what you will have seen from the Six Nations and then going into the three warm-up games, there have been opportunities for players. There were snapshots in those warm-up games where a number of players did particularly well. It gives you the ability to make changes and freshen things up. It is a six-day turnaround, so it makes sense to make a few changes with the nature of the game we've just played."
