Gareth Thomas called into Wales touring squad

Following a hand injury to Pro 12 champion Rob Evans that has forced him to withdraw, Ospreys prop Gareth Thomas has been brought into the Wales squad for the forthcoming Summer Tour.

Meanwhile, fellow Pro 12 champion Rhys Patchell and Thomas' Ospreys front team mate, prop Rhodri Jones have been called into Wales' training camp in North Wales, as cover for Exeter Chiefs' Phil Dollman and Scarlet Samson Lee who will undergo scans on Tuesday after picking up knee injuries in their respective title-winning matches on Saturday.
