Mitre 10 Cup 

Hawke's Bay host the unbeaten Canterbury, who haven't lost since September last year, today in the Mitre 10 Cup.

Canterbury successfully defended the Ranfurly Shield last week while Hawke's Bay was beaten by Bay of Plenty in the Battle of the Bays.

The last time these two sides met Canterbury dominated the match winning it 63-7.

Brave Lupus and Wild Knights will face off in the Top League today, Corey Jane's Brave Lupus will be looking to bounce back from their 25-14 to Shining Arcs.

David Pocock's Wild Knights are undefeated so far this season and will be hoping to continue their fine form.

National Rugby Championship

The NRC kicks off this weekend with the opening match seeing Canberra Vikings taking on Queensland Country.

The next match will see the Fijian Drua make their first appearance in the competition when they face Brisban City.

The weekend rounds off with Sydney Rays hosting NSW Eagles and the reigning NRC champions Perth Spirit hosting Melbourne Rising.
