Due to an agreement between the French Rugby Federation and the TOP14 clubs, Fabien Galthie has named nearly an entirely new squad for France's second round of the Autumn Nations Cup.
The agreement between the French national team and the TOP14 clubs meant that players could only play three games during this test window with the large majority of the Six Nations squad set to return to their clubs after the clash with Fiji.
France head to Edinburgh for their second round of the Autumn Nations Cup to face Scotland and Galthie has now confirmed his travelling squad.
With Antoine Dupont and Romain Ntamack both returning to Toulouse, Matthieu Jalibert has been recalled to the squad alongside Baptiste Serin with both players missing the test against Fiji. The pair are likely to be the front runners for starting roles while the likes of Sebastien Bezy and Louis Carbonel both providing cover. The latter is in line to make his test debut.
With Anthony Bouthier and Thomas Ramos also returning to their clubs, Brice Dulin has been called along with Toulon rookie Gervais Cordin, the latter was part of France's training squad ahead of the Six Nations.
Racing 92 props Oz Ali and Hassane Kolingar have both been called up to the squad along with clubmate and hooker Teddy Baubigny. Dorian Aldegheri has also earned a call up as too has powerhouse Uini Atonio. Toulouse hooker Peato Mauvaka has also earned a recall with Pierre Bourgarit completing the front row stocks.
There is a very inexperienced look to the second row stocks with Cyril Cazeaux, Killian Geraci, Baptiste Pesenti and Swan Rebbadj all called into the squad. Yacouba Camara earns a recall alongside the likes of Anthony Jelonch, Sekou Macalou, Fabien Sannonnie, Cameron Woki and Sacha Zegueur.
Arthur Retiere retains his place in the squad having made his test debut against Ireland and is joined in the wing stocks by Teddy Thomas. Alivereti Raka has been recalled to the test team for the first time since the Rugby World Cup while the extremely impressive Gabin Villiere has been called up after his superb form with Toulon.
Finally, Racing's Oliver Klemenczak features in the midfield along with Pierre-Louis Barrassi and Julien Delbouis.
