Former Munster number 10 joins Hurricanes coaching staff

According to a report in limerickleader.ie, Former Munster fly-half Tyler Bleyendaal is set to join up with the Hurricanes ahead of the 2021 Super Rugby season.

Bleyendaal, 30, made 62 appearances for Munster between 2015 & 2020. Before that, he turned out for the Crusaders on 21 occasions between 2012 & 2014 and was a junior All Black (U20) in 2010.

Bleyendaal has apparently exhibited a keen interest in the coaching side of things for a while now and seems to harbour some enthusiastic ambition. He has already been involved with the coaching staff of the Garryowen FC club side.

The Hurricanes’ season will kick-off against the Blues on 27 February next year.
