A try against the Blues was Israel Folau's 60th in Super Rugby, giving him the outright record for five-pointers in the competition.
Israel Folau became Super Rugby's outright record try-scorer when he touched down in the first half for the Waratahs against the Blues on Saturday.
The Australia back had equalled Doug Howlett's tally of 59 against the Crusaders last month.
And Folau claimed try number 60 at Eden Park in his 96th game when he leapt to collect a high cross-field kick and dotted the ball down.
Still only 30, Folau has plenty of time to improve his haul and set a record that will be hard to break
His latest try was a timely one for the Waratahs, after they had fallen 17-0 down inside 18 minutes against the Blues, but Folau and his team-mates still suffered a narrow defeat.
