Etzebeth signs with the Sharks

The Sharks can confirm that towering Springbok lock Eben Etzebeth will make Durban his new home after penning a deal with the franchise.  

Etzebeth was granted early release from his contract with Toulon and will join up with the Sharks at the conclusion of the current season. 

“I am sad to have to leave Toulon and my teammates at the end of the season but personal reasons force me to do so,” Etzebeth said in the statement.
