Sanchez Rises To The Top Against New Zealand

Nicholas Sanchez scored 25 points in total, the 3rd most points by an individual vs  New Zealand, by scoring 6 penalty goals, a try and converting the try. He also made 4 brilliant carriers making 19m for the day. He was very instrumental in Argentina's performance today. Mo'unga was superb on attack, creating space in the Argentina defence for his teammates to attack. He beat 2 defenders, made 4 runs totalling 12 metres.

Pagadizaval was brilliant at the breakdown, making 6 tackles and also turning over the balls. He made 10 runs, showing a great display of rugby and made around 15 metres. Lomax was the top tackler of the day, making 12 tackles before being subbed in the 58th minute. He showed a brilliant display of defensive rugby at the break down.

Frizell was another star performer at the breakdown, making 9 runs and turning over possession for New Zealand. Imhoff showed glimpse of his capabilities, by beating defenders and carrying crash balls. He worked hard from start to finish totalling 32 metres for the day. A good overall performance on his first game back since 2015.

Matera played an outstanding game, controlling the game with his forwards at the breakdown and turning over possession. A true display of a captains performance. Kraemer interlinked quite well with Matera controlling the breakdown, making crucial tackles and making valuable runs in the entire 80 mins.

Goodhue was a brilliant runner on attack, carrying the ball in crucial areas of the field and gaining metres. He beat numerous defenders and made a total of 23 metres. He was also brilliant on defense making 5 tackles.
