Brits' fate to be decided on Tuesday

Schalk Brits' will learn the length of his ban at a Judicial Committee Hearing on Tuesday.
The veteran hooker was shown a straight red card in the Bulls win over the Sharks in Durban after he and Sharks' hooker Akker van der Merwe were involved in punch up.
Akker van der Merwe had his mid-range entry suspension of six weeks cut in half after he pleaded guilty and due to his good judicial record.
Brits, on the other hand, might not be as lucky. Brits might not get his suspension cut in half even if, which he is likely to do, pleads guilty.
Brits was shown a red card in Saracens' win over Gloucester in 2016, also for punching, and he received a 3-week ban.

This could see the Bulls having to deal without their veteran hooker for around 3-6 weeks maybe even longer depending on the committee's judgement of the entry point of his actions.
