'The Lowe Show': Champions Cup Player of the Weekend
- 873

James Lowe is the recipient of our Round 1 Champions Cup Player of the Weekend following his one man demolition of Wasps at the RDS on Friday night.
The New Zealander scored twice for the Irish province in their 52-3 bonus point win and the former Hamilton Chief caused havoc throughout with his game breaking ability in attack which has quickly made him become a fan favourite.
The 26-year-old has scored six tries in his five opening games of the season and played a leading role of inflicting the heaviest defeat that Wasps has suffered in Europe.
Lowe was deservedly handed the Man of the Match honours after the final whistle. He gained 184 metres with ball in hand from 12 runs, four clean breaks, beating eight defenders and scoring on two occasions.
The rampaging winger scored the pick of the bunch on Friday night, polishing off a well executed move from a lineout, taking a brilliant line to scythe through the Wasps defence.
My word 😨

For his second try, J-Lowe was on the end of a piece of magic from Johnny Sexton, the No. 10 offloading the ball through his legs to help send Lowe away for his 16th try in 18 appearances for Leinster.
Magical. Out of this world. Stunning.@leinsterrugby are playing a different brand of rugby!
