Dylan Hartley, Nathan Hughes and Joe Marler all cited after weekend of European action

England trio Dylan Harley, Nathan Hughes and Joe Marler will all face disciplinary hearings tomorrow after the weekend of European action.

Hartley was cited for striking Rabah Slimani with his hand during Northampton Saints’ 24-7 Champions Cup defeat to Clermont Auvergne on Saturday.

Harlequins loosehead prop, Marlerreceived his citing for striking Will Rowlands with his elbow and Wasps No 8, Hughes for a dangerous tackle on Marcus Smith.

Both incidents occurred during Wasps’ 41-10 victory against Harlequins on Sunday and also carry a low-entry point of two weeks.

All players have three days to appeal.
