Durbell win first Community Cup title

Durbanville-Bellville flyhalf Garth April on Monday kicked a late penalty in the dying minutes of a gripping Cell C Community Cup final against hosts and defending champions Rustenburg Impala to secure a hard-fought 31-30 victory and their first national title in the history of the club.


The final day of the competition was a high-scoring affair as all but one of the teams scored 30 points or more in their final matches, which made for exciting rugby at the Impala Rugby Club in Rustenburg.
