Disciplinary: Kelsey Jones (Gloucester-Hartpury)

The case of Kelsey Jones, Gloucester-Hartpury, was heard by an independent disciplinary panel chaired by Martin Picton sitting with Inigo Churchill and Kylie Hutchinson on Tuesday 23 January.

Jones was red carded for dangerous tackling, contrary to World Rugby Law 9.13, during a match against Saracens Women on 20 January.
 
The player admitted the charge and received a three-match ban which will be reduced to two if she makes an application to World Rugby to undertake the Coaching Intervention Programme (CIP).
 
She will miss the following games:

03/02 v Leicester Tigers Women
11/02 v Bristol Bears Women
17/02 v Sale Sharks Women (subject to completion of CIP)
