Disciplinary: Francois van Wyk - Leicester Tigers

The case of Francois van Wyk, Leicester Tigers, was heard yesterday evening, Tuesday 6 December, by an independent disciplinary panel chaired by Oliver Clark with Alastair Campbell and James Wilson.
Van Wyk was cited for dangerous tackling contrary to World Rugby Law 9.13 in the match against Bristol Bears on 3 December. He received a three week ban which will be reduced to two if he completes World Rugby's Coaching Intervention Programme*.
Van Wyk will miss the following games:
- 10/12 v Ospreys
- 17/12 v ASM Clermont Auvergne
- 24/12 v Gloucester*
