Disciplinary: Duhan van der Merwe, Worcester Warriors and Ratu Naulago, Bristol Bears

Duhan van der Merwe of Worcester Warriors and Ratu Naulago of Bristol Bears, will appear before a virtual independent disciplinary panel tomorrow evening (Tuesday 8 March 2022, from 7pm).

Van der Merwe received a red card for reckless or dangerous play, contrary to World Rugby Law 9.11 for an incident in the second half of the match against London Irish on 5 March. 

Naulago received a red card for dangerous tackling contrary to World Rugby Law 9.13 for an incident that occurred in the first half of the match against Bath Rugby on 5 March. 

The cases will be heard by a panel comprising Jeremy Summers (chair) with Philip Davies and one other panel member to be confirmed.
