Cornish Pirates sign Argentinean star Nicolas Coronel
As the Cornish Pirates are reporting back for pre-season training, they have also announced that one of Argentina's star 'Sevens' players, Nicolas Coronel, has signed a one year contract for the club.
Although born in Barcelona, Nicolas, aged 25, learned the game and has played most of his rugby in Argentina.
Originally a back-rower, but nowadays a centre/wing, his first club was Club Atletico Estudiantes, Parana, where his father Jorge was a noted player.
He then moved to Duendes in Rosario, and has since played for Bathco Rugby Club in Spain, and during the past season for Lazio Rugby 127 in Italy.
